First things first, the owner, Nana is so sweet and kind. He answered all of my questions before I even booked with him. On the day of the tour, he was 30min early! I found that to be impressive! The amount of knowledge and attentiveness he shows is like no other. He made me feel very comfortable as a solo traveler and as a woman. He never let me feel alone or be bothered. I recommend this company to anybody looking! I will book with him any time, any where! Monique: New York, USA
Had a great time on this two day tour. Nana was an extremely friendly and knowledgeable tour guide and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable the entire trip. 5/5 - would absolute recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nneka: United Kingdom
So very grateful to have had this experience in Ghana 2020–Year of Return! Arrived in Ghana on New Years Day ahead of my friends and Nana was at airport for a pickup and had checked with my hotel to confirm my reservation was intact. I was very grateful to hear that and impressed at the personalized touch that went above and beyond what I expected. The next day he came to take me to go and see some sights in Accra before he went to get my friends from the airport. The following day, we left for our 2 day Elmina Castle and Kakum Rainforest tour. On the way to Elmina, we visited the Ancestral Slave River Park in Assin Manso and were given a history and tour of how slaves were captured and prepared for transport to Europe and the “New World.” This tour was not only emotional and moving but quite informative. After that we continued to Elmina and had dinner at a lovely ocean side restaurant and then on to the Coconut Grove Lodge for the night. Nana took us out to tour Elmina at night which was a very nice touch and allowed us experience the town as locals do. We had beer and conversed at a local bar and met some of his friends and acquaintances along the way. The Elmina town and castle tour the next day was emotive, informative, and entertaining. An excellent and personalized touch was the T-shirts he give our group that was the envy of others on other tours as we were asked by by them where to get one. After Elmina we went to the Kakum National Park for a canopy walk which was not only beautiful but was also thrilling. After all this, we headed back to Accra and our respective hotels. He took pictures of our group during much of the trip and was the most accommodating tour guide. I can personally state that I had a fantastic time thanks to Nana’s generosity as a person and a guide. I would recommend his tours to anyone interested and hope his company grows to the heights he dreams of. Wuyattah: New Jersey, USA
As a solo female traveller, Freelance Nana was a great option for me. Safe, good communication, comfortable, and fun! He was flexible and could accommodate my tight schedule. He is experienced and it was interesting to chat about everything from food, music, to politics. Thank you! Annice: Canada
Being inspired by the Japanese tradition of Tokyo Inhabitants to climb Mount Fuji on Ne Year's day. I venture myself to take part in escaping busy and busty Accra for a few days and take a road trip to the Volta region organize by @Freelancenana crew! Nana has been personally very welcoming checking on me like a friend prior to the trip and all through it! I do appreciate his soulful and passionate spirit. The travel guide I had Issac made his bet to accommodate my rhythm when we were hiking the Mont Afodjato and had several breaks to rest. Volta region was a sincere Breezer of fresh air and I would have loved to stay overnight by the Volta region for longer and cruise the lake. Again the team is very friendly and will provide you great cultural insight onto Ghanaian culture and history. I would definitely recommend taking one of their tours or asking for a custom one if possible. Christina Belloge
I visited Ghana for The Year of Return. We went on several tours with different companies but this was by far the best tour we went on due to the professionalism of our tour guide, Nana. Nana communicated with us prior to the trip to make sure we were all set for the day of. We were picked up on time and provided with very comfortable transportation to our destinations. Nana was very kind and knowledgeable about all of our excursion destinations. He made sure we had a great experience at each location. He also went out of his way to help us with our dietary restrictions for lunch. Would definitely recommend for your next tour! Nadia & Rose: United States
Was recommended this tour by a friend who gave rave reviews. Looking for something that would be inclusive of our 2yr old had us skeptical. But Nana made me feel at ease from first communication. Tour was tailored to our needs, his knowledge, experience and passion was top level and you can see he is well loved within the community. A MUST on the to do list when you visit Ghana! Professional, polite and he leaves you inspired to learn more of your history. Many thanks Nana! Elite Family - United Kingdom
I was introduced to this company initially on a tour to Boti Falls and I felt so comfortable with Nana that I booked this experience as well! I honestly cannot describe how this entire experience made me feel. As a black American searching for her ancestry, I couldn’t have had a more eye opening/spiritual experience with anyone else! I talked to chief(Nana), a beautiful 97yr old elder, prepared and ate a local Ghanaian dish, learned about the captivity, torture and selling of my ancestors and I even got baptized in the same water they were bathed in before being sold off. I mean, there was so much that happened in this tour that I’m still processing it. They took AMAZING videos and pictures of the entire experience for me to cherish forever. I am forever grateful for this experience ❤️ Roxi Renee - Chicago, Illinois
Exploring with Nana , my sisters and I felt welcomed and with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start! The guide and tour was extremely good, very flexible (picked us up from hotel and dropped us back to hotel) and we were given water and snacks, for that he deserves a special thanks. We had a great day exploring learning about Nana Kobina Gyan(one of the earliest Kings of Ghana's most historical town), going to learn about cape coast castle , listening to the history being told at Alamina castle and hiking in the Kakum national park. Nana was very attentive to everyone’s needs as we were on our tour. Nana is very knowledgeable about all the history. On the 3 or 4 hour drive to get to the activities he told us history on a lot of things.

Nana has such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). My sisters and I enjoyed hiking up to the Kakum national park to reach the 6 bridges. The lunch (full plate of food) at the end was a delight and good it was a great way to end the tour.

Nana made sure everyone in our group felt safe and informed on the days events. Shawanda : California - USA
