We are a Ghana-based travel company helping guests explore Ghana, Togo, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Benin and South Africa with safety, flexibility and true local connection at the centre.
Freelance Nana Tours started with a simple idea: help visitors experience Ghana like they are visiting family, not a stranger’s country. Over time, hosting friends, relatives and small groups turned into crafting full itineraries — airport pickups, road trips to Cape Coast, border runs to Togo, and eventually longer routes into Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Benin and South Africa.
Today, we design trips for solo travellers, couples, families, church groups, schools, corporate teams and Diaspora communities. Our focus is the same: real experiences, honest guidance, and safety and comfort from the first WhatsApp message to your flight back home.
Beyond airports and hotel bookings, we care about how you feel on the road — welcomed, safe, seen and excited to come back again.
To make travelling Ghana and West Africa simpler, safer and more human for guests from Ghana, the region and abroad.
To become the trusted regional travel partner for anyone who wants to explore Ghana, Togo, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Benin and South Africa in a meaningful way.
Honesty in pricing, respect for local communities, safety on every route, and genuine care for each guest’s story and background.
Planning a regional trip can feel complicated — visas, border posts, road quality, security, language barriers and more. Our job is to simplify this for you.
We ask about your goals, group type, ages, mobility needs and comfort level, then propose realistic routes and dates that match your context.
We build a clear day-by-day plan, with transport, accommodation and key activities, and share pricing in a transparent way — no surprise add-ons.
Before, during and after your trip, you have a direct WhatsApp line to the team in Ghana for questions, adjustments and support.
We keep the core team intentionally lean, and work with a network of vetted drivers, guides and hosts across the region.
Coordinates itineraries, hosts guests in Ghana and joins select regional trips. Your main point of contact from the first WhatsApp message.
Trip design & hostingFrom professional drivers to local guides and guesthouse owners, we work with people we know, trust and have travelled with ourselves.
