Day 1: 26th December 鈥 Arrival in Ghana
Upon arrival at Kotoka International Airport, you will go through immigration and arrival formalities. After exiting the terminal, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide. For guests arriving at night, light snacks will be provided to refresh you after your journey. We will then transfer to our hotel for check-in. This evening will be relaxed, allowing time to settle in and rest. Welcome drinks and dinner will be served, accompanied by traditional African drumming to officially welcome you to Ghana.

Day 2: 27th December 鈥 Exploring Accra
Today, we explore the vibrant capital city of Ghana. Highlights include visits to Independence Square, the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, and the National Museum to learn about Ghana鈥檚 political history and cultural heritage. After lunch, we will visit Makola Market for an authentic local shopping and cultural experience. The evening includes downtime at the hotel, dinner, and an optional introduction to Accra鈥檚 nightlife.

Day 3: 28th December 鈥 Aburi Botanical Gardens & Asenema Falls
After breakfast, we drive to the Eastern Region of Ghana. Our first stop is Asenema Falls, where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and refreshing scenery. After lunch, we continue to Aburi Botanical Gardens to learn about various plant and tree species and their medicinal importance to indigenous communities. In the evening, depending on energy levels, guests may choose to experience nightlife or enjoy a relaxed evening.

Day 4: 29th December 鈥 Assin Manso & Elmina Castle
We journey to the Central Region today. En route, we visit Assin Manso Slave Market, the final stop where enslaved Africans took their last bath before being transported to the castles.
Here, we participate in the Reverential Walk of Return, walking barefoot to the slave river as a symbol of reconnection to the motherland and honoring the ancestors. We also visit the Memorial Wall of Return, where names are inscribed to symbolise coming back home.
After this powerful experience, we continue to Elmina Castle, the oldest European structure in existence below south of the Sahara and a former slave dungeon. Lunch follows before returning to our beachfront accommodation.

Day 5: 30th December 鈥 Kakum Rainforest & Cape Coast Castle
Today, we visit Kakum National Park and experience the famous canopy walkway. One of the few of its kind in the world. After lunch, we proceed to Cape Coast Castle to visit the Door of No Return, gaining deeper insight into the transatlantic slave trade and its lasting impact.

Day 6: 31st December 鈥 Naming Ceremony & Return to Accra
After breakfast, we visit a chief鈥檚 palace to take part in a traditional naming ceremony, symbolizing acceptance, identity, and belonging within Ghanaian culture. Following the ceremony, we drive back to Accra and settle in for the evening.

Day 7: 1st January 鈥 Free Day, Beach, Arts Centre & Farewell Dinner
This day is free for rest and relaxation. You may choose to unwind at the beach, explore Accra at your own pace, or visit the Arts Centre to shop for souvenirs and handmade crafts. In the evening, we gather for a farewell dinner to reflect on the journey, celebrate shared experiences, and commemorate the connections made.

Day 8: 2nd January 鈥 Departure
Enjoy a relaxed morning before departure. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport, leaving Ghana with unforgettable memories and a deeper connection to its culture and history.
